View larger image of 'Margaret Mee's Amazon'Mee, Margaret -  Margaret Mee's Amazon
Margaret Mee’s marvellous book “In Search of Flowers of the Amazon Forests” has been much admired and long sought after since it went out of print. Now we have a new edition of it in larger format. The text is similar but with many differences from the first edition which was edited by Tony Morrison (is this her original text? – the publishers give no clue). Many of the pictures and paintings (most of which are larger and in many cases seem to be much better reproduced) are the same (it is difficult to compare the contents of the two books, and again frustratingly the publishers are silent on this). In all an even better book than the first edition. 2004 12 x 9 ½ 319 pages
